Research has shown, without a doubt, that the current rise in chronic diseases sweeping across America is due to our lifestyle. So the question is, "why don't we just change our lifestyle?" The answer is easy. Many people associate changing their life for the better as an extremely hard process, simultaneously having to give up everything they have always enjoyed. That's not neccessarily the case. The truth is, changing our lifestyle by giving up everything we like doesn't need to be just that. Change can absolutely happen naturally, become more enjoyable, and have long lasting, permanent effects. You have to first understand the rules for change and then implement them into your daily life. I have developed a seminar that will provide the necessary tools allowing you to sustain a permanent and healthier life, whether at home, at the gym or the office, and at the same time making it more enjoyable. You have the ability to change; you just need the tools to make it real. I have the tools for you! Come to our next seminar and it will change your life. You can be healthy, you can be the size you want, you can have abundant energy, and you can be fit. Let's do it!
“Eat Well, Be Well”
We are only as healthy as the cells that make up our body. What makes our cells healthy? If you walked into a room and saw a plant sitting there all wilted and sick and you wanted to make it healthy again, what would you do? Would you immediately think what drug or surgery does this plant need? Or what genetic disorder does this plant have that runs in its family? No, you wouldn't. You would think that the plant needs either, sunlight, water, nutrients, clean soil, or some combination of them. So, when we see a sick and wilted human being why do we immediately run for a drug or a surgery or feel sorry for ourselves because "it runs in the family?" Isn't it possible that human beings were created to be healthy, just like the plant and the person? All we have to do is implement the good nutrients and remove the harmful toxins. Your cells desperately want to be healthy, they just need the right nutrients to work with. If we truly want to be healthy we must eat well, move well, and think well. My Eat Well, Be Well seminar will give you all the information you need to restructure your belief system about how you eat so you can make permanent changes toward lasting health. I know you want to be healthy. Your children, grandchildren, spouse, your family, your hobbies, your life, all the things you love are counting on you being healthy. We can help!
“Move Well, Be Well”
After this seminar, you will never look at exercise the same. All those years that you said you were going to exercise and didn’t will be a thing of the past and you will have the healthy body you have always dreamed of. Movement is a required nutrient of the human body. Annually, there are over 300,000 premature deaths and $90 billion spent in direct health care costs due to people lacking movement. We have come to be brainwashed to perceive exercise, energy expenditure and physical fitness as optional tools for improving sport performance, achieving weight loss, or improving the way we look. In reality, exercise supplies an essential nutrient required for the expression of health. Our genes require stimulus from exercise in order to produce healthy physiology and biochemistry and without it we are literally deficient and sick. Exercise deficiency is a significant cause of chronic illnesses like cancer, heart disease, diabetes, obesity, chronic pain, osteoporosis, depression and degenerative disease etc. You will leave this seminar permanently changed with your new belief about why you want to exercise for the rest of your life and why you could never live without it!
“Think Well, Be Well”
This seminar will inspire you to reach levels of health that you previously believed were unattainable. Dr. Mills’ unique style of inspiration through education will change your life. Science has proven beyond a question of doubt that our thoughts (internal dialog) have a direct impact on our state of health. Think of it this way: we have all had days where it seems that everything that could go wrong did go wrong. Days when we were under intense stress or that we felt just completely overwhelmed. Conversely, we have all had days were everything went perfect; everything that could go right, did go right. We were so happy and overjoyed, filled with a sense of gratitude and thankfulness. My question to you is, how did you feel at the end of each day respectively? That’s right at the end of the first day you were exhausted, physically, mentally, and spiritually. Your joints and muscles ached, you had a headache and were ready for bed. At the end of the second day you were looking for ways to make the day continue on, you were full of energy, excitement and ready for more. My point is to give you an example of exactly how our mental state directly affects our health and sense of well being. This seminar is designed to give you the tools and strategies to “Think Well, Be Well.” Why? Because it's physiologically impossible to be healthy with unhealthy thoughts. Negative, unhealthy, internal self-talk literally changes the expression of our genes and increases our risk of developing all chronic diseases. If your desire is to enjoy every moment of your life this seminar is a must attend!

“Healthier People/Healthier Planet”
Carol Davis- Attended; January 15, 2009 Seminar
First of all, I would like to thank you, Dr. Mills, for your educational and enlightening seminar.
Ever since I have taken the steps to a “healthier me” by making chiropractic a part of my life, I have definitely felt much better. I feel younger, stronger, healthier, and have more endurance and energy compared to others my age.
My beliefs in a healthier body make going to the gym regularly a lot easier. I don’t dread it like I use to because I know it’s helping me to be a healthier person. I feel a good eye opener is to go to your high school class reunion and see everyone there that is the same age. That’s when you realize that you are doing something right in your life through chiropractic.
I’m not saying that I’m fine now and it’s clear sailing, because it’s not. I still fight with my ego. And, sometimes unfortunately my ego wins. Last year I did well with losing weight and keeping it off. I felt so good about myself. Over the Christmas holiday the negative influence of my ego took over telling me “go ahead, you can eat that snack, everyone else is eating it, and you’ve lost some weight so now you have justification to eat more.” Then after I ate it, I became angry with myself for losing my will power and giving in to the bad behavior.
So, now I have to change my beliefs again in order to lose the weight I’ve gained back. Hopefully I can continually remind myself that I can do it with positive thinking and chiropractic to keep me a healthier person.

I realized I must change my belief about what we eat as a family. For if I don’t believe this item is bad for me, I will go back to eating it. Also my main goal is to eat to be healthy and the rest of the other smaller goals will come. Thanks for taking the time to give us the much needed tools to reach our goals of a healthier life.

Dr. Mike,
Your first “Lifestyle” class has caused me to step back, re-evaluate every aspect of my life so that I may maintain my “Personal Power” at its highest level. By doing this I can focus on changing my beliefs so that I can rid myself of my negative behaviors.
I have set a target date to quit smoking and whenever my mind races in the wrong direction I smack my hand and I have to admit, I chuckle out loud.
I look forward to attending the classes you offer, and more importantly, spreading these lessons to others while I continue to learn. After all, I do LOVE myself and certainly hope and pray that others feel the same.
Thank you for giving all of us the opportunity to be healthier people in a healthier planet.
Sincerely,
Beth Blews

I guess what impacted me the most was Dr. Mills passion for his clients' health. When I was told that sugar feeds cancer I wanted to make changes. I'm glad I can take small steps to big changes and not all at once. My goal that I set for myself if to get off prescripiton drugs. I want to live my best life ever.

I came to Mills' Chiropractic when former chiropractors had given up on helping me with my chronic pain. Our journey began on "faith" that he could help me and I had "hope". In the past eight years as a Wellness patient, I continue to witness Dr. Mills' devotion and commitment in bringing out the best in 'every' patient-physically and mentally. I've been a long time supporter of Lifestyle classes and practice what I learn from this beneficial information. In today's enviroment, it is very easy to be tempted into making poor choices concerning our health. Attending these classes helps me stay motivated & inspires me in making my daily decisions. This not only affects me in a positive way, but those around me. I thank you, Dr. Mills', for expanding your knowledge of Wellness Care and sharing it with those that are willing and ready to 'make that change' in achieving better health.

I feel sincerely blessed to have attended the seminar. So much information, it was very educational!! The statistics were astounding! As much as I'd like to "clean house" of all the items I have that are not so healthy, I do realize that baby steps are necessary.
There will definitely be some changes made around our house. They will be much better, healthier changes. I need to be more diligent and make better choices of what we buy and bring into the home.
God Bless You Dr. Mike and thank you very much!

All Change in our lives needs to be approached in baby steps. As a previous "Be Well" seminar attendee, I was excited to come to the "Eat Well" seminar as I had missed last year.
The information given was enlightening to say the least, and the packet is very helpful in getting started on the path to a better, healthier way of eating. It would be so easy to skip to step five, but I believe that you should incorporate all of the elements in step one so that each step thereafter will be more fun adding new foods along the way. I have to admit that I have already included the power breakfast, and I'm hooked on it!!
My juicer is ordered, and I look forward to experimenting with the fruit/vegetable combinations. I look forward to the next baby step.
Perhaps in order to help each other, at the seminar, we could share recipes to help give each other the incentive to try new things. This might encourage those who are skeptical about what may seem as bland eating.
Thank you, as always, I look forward to our next seminar!
